Mozilla debuts new logo

New Mozilla Logo

5 months ago Mozilla asked for help of the public on foot so that decide on one of the logos who were shown as the possible final candidate to replace the current one. They surprised us with a series of designs that had little to do with what we have always related to this brand, so it was almost easy to select a few that could be that final selection for the new logo.

Seven months after the process for update Mozilla brand experience, today the new brand identity has been revealed with which they emphasize the way they understand software today. A well-marked logo in black and in which two of its characters stand out to form a kind of rotated emoticon.

The idea is that the logo state your goals in relation to the Internet and that they are to be precursors of healthy public resources, open and accessible to all.

With the font in white on a rectangle in black, the idea is that we understand Mozilla as one of the key players for a healthy Internet. An internet in which we are all able to be free to explore, discover, create and innovate without barriers and without limitations. A space for all in which power is in the hands of many, and not just a few.

At a time when security and privacy are being damaged by certain movements of some companies, Mozilla wants get involved in our protection, security and identity so that they are always respected.

A non-profit organization that is especially trained to create products, technologies and programs that keep the Internet growing and healthy, so this logo tries to bring together everything said in it.
