Aaargh typography
To this Valentine's Day!Whether you like it or not, you're going to have to design something. It may not be a poster, or a logo, or a packaging. It's probably about uploading a 404 x 404px image to your Facebook page, or your cover, or your Twitter background, or a small banner to include on your website / blog, or a detail for your partner ... And if you don't need it - Congratulations, you've managed to escape the clutches of the cloying day of the year.
We have already talked about the importance of typography in any work, but I am forced to emphasize its relevance in any element designed for these dates. Let's flee from tacky and tacky fonts, let's try to make a dignified and elegant design that conveys the loving feeling we want. You think? So, read on and observe the typographies which I recommend below.
List of fonts for Valentine's Day
Let's think about design as a whole. Let's think about whether we want to put a flat color, a gradient, a texture or a photograph in the background. Once decided, let's treat it in the best way possible. We always associate them with the warm tones of the chromatic range if what we want is convey feelings associated with tenderness, affection, passion, love ...
It is done? Think about the text you are going to enter. Short? Length? Check the grammar. All good? Perfect, let's go for the sources.
I recommend soft fonts, open (with a large x height and short ancestors); combinations between highly differentiated weights and a mix between sober types and ornate fountains.
