Vectr is a free graphics editor that has been updated to version 1.4

These days ago we had a series of very interesting appearances when it comes to apps and programs focused on design. Sketch has been updated to version 4.1, Affinity Photo now available on Windows, Adobe Comp CC for mobile devices or exactly that new Adobe 3D drawing tool that takes us to other directions and sensations.

Most of them are well known to all, but there is one that has been updated today, which you should surely be attentive to, Vectr 1.4. This app has been developed by a indie group since 2001 without many resources, but with many intentions, and that in version 1.4 brings with it the ability to group layers.

Vectr is an app alternative to those Sketch and Inskcape that can be distinguished by its simplicity and that it is available completely free of charge for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome.

From his Blog, Vectr, has taken his time 13 hours ago to announce the arrival of this new version that brings with it the ability to group layers. You will now be able to manipulate layers on objects in groups, making the design workflow easier and more flexible than ever. It is the team itself that has prepared a video tutorial that explains well how this special novelty works, which has managed to be announced as version 1.4.

This works in such a way that you have to select the layers you want to group with the Ctrl key on Windows or Command on Mac, to select them from the layers menu. Alternatively, you can select workspace objects with the rectangular selection typical of other apps.

An interesting novelty of an app that you can download completely free from their website. You have the link yourself from here.
